A new edition of "Batman: The Killing Joke" will be available at SDCC 2026 for $17,500. European publisher Argent Comics, which specializes in unique comic book editions for discerning collectors, has shared the first photos of its "Batman: The Killing Joke". The collector's edition will be limited to 47 copies and will retail for $17,500. Specifications include 100% cotton, goatskin, aluminum, and a book weight of 4.4 kg. The edition will come in a handcrafted case designed to resemble the Joker's camera from the comic.

The indie series Skull Maskerade will receive its first collector's edition.

The collection will include the first five issues—many of which are already hard to find—and will be published in both paperback and hardcover. The story centers on masked women, protectors of lost souls trapped in a place between worlds and beyond time known as the Land of the Dead. Spirits from all walks of life gather there, from the noble to the dangerous and downright bizarre.

 Vampirella won't be relaxing on the beach in Dynamite Entertainment's summer special.   Dynamite Entertainment will release Vampirella Summer Special 2026 in July. Writer Erica Schultz and artist Adriana Melo are working on the project.
