Jessica Jones is returning in a new comic book series.

Marvel Comics has announced a new title featuring the private investigator and wife of New York’s former mayor—Jessica Jones. The plot centers on the search for a child with superpowers, presumably a mutant. This situation hits close to home for Jessica, given her complicated relationship with Luke and their children—one of whom, incidentally, is the biological son of the Purple Man. Ultimately, Jones must choose between the new investigation and her husband—an Avenger—and their children, who could be in danger. The first issue of "Jessica Jones: Alias" arrives on December 23rd; the series will run for five issues.
