As Ivy’s botanical creations spread across the city, Batman urgently needs to locate Mr. Freeze. The cold-blooded villain is far from pleased with the situation—and he may well be the key to stopping the rampaging villainess. Meanwhile, butler Verity Pennyworth is forced to defend the manor against attackers who have clearly underestimated exactly who they are dealing with. Professor Xavier has become a pterodactyl in the latest issues of Uncanny X-Men.

Things have been so wild in The Uncanny X-Men series that even the great teacher, Professor Xavier, has changed dramatically. Now, the revamped Young Mutants have been thrown back in time and stripped of their memories. They find themselves as New Mutants, under the care of none other than Moira MacTaggert. The heroine is constantly reborn and is deeply tied to the Professor. But that's far from the most shocking thing to happen in Uncanny X-Men #27.
