Mr. Freeze might help Batman defeat Poison Ivy. This week sees the release of the fourteenth issue of the ongoing Batman series, and the Dark Knight’s target has finally been revealed. As Ivy’s botanical creations spread across the city, Batman urgently needs to locate Mr. Freeze. The cold-blooded villain is far from pleased with the situation—and he may well be the key to stopping the rampaging villainess. Meanwhile, butler Verity Pennyworth is forced to defend the manor against attackers who have clearly underestimated exactly who they are dealing with. Batman’s stronghold turns into a battlefield in the dead of night, with dawn fast approaching. The comic hits shelves on October 7, 2026.

Marvel Comics' Spider-Woman Announcement.

Marvel Comics shared another announcement for November: a new ongoing Spider-Woman series awaits readers, continuing the storylines of ASM: Spider-Versity and Spider-Woman: 50th Anniversary Special. In the story, Jessica Drew "returns to her roots": she once again becomes a private detective, attempting to uncover more dark mysteries. She even finds support in journalist Ben Urich. However, two problems loom in her path: Spider-Woman's old enemies return from the dead, and A piece of the Carnage symbiote has taken up residence within Jessica Drew. For now, the announcement proclaims the publisher's standard "darkest series about the heroine ever." Whether this is true will be revealed on November 4th with the release of the first issue.
