The cold-blooded villain is far from pleased with the situation—and he may well be the key to stopping the rampaging villainess. Meanwhile, butler Verity Pennyworth is forced to defend the manor against attackers who have clearly underestimated exactly who they are dealing with. Even Armageddon won't destroy the Avengers.

The Marvel Comics universe will be shaken up this summer with the Avengers: Armageddon event. As usual, they promise that things will change dramatically. And not everyone will emerge alive. What's more, a young Doctor Doom from an alternate dimension will be featured. The first issue was released just recently on June 3rd, and they're already teasing what's to come. The new Avengers volume promises a major vengeance from those who survived.
