Mr. Freeze might help Batman defeat Poison Ivy. This week sees the release of the fourteenth issue of the ongoing Batman series, and the Dark Knight’s target has finally been revealed. As Ivy’s botanical creations spread across the city, Batman urgently needs to locate Mr. Freeze. The cold-blooded villain is far from pleased with the situation—and he may well be the key to stopping the rampaging villainess. Meanwhile, butler Verity Pennyworth is forced to defend the manor against attackers who have clearly underestimated exactly who they are dealing with. Batman’s stronghold turns into a battlefield in the dead of night, with dawn fast approaching. The comic hits shelves on October 7, 2026.

The Hulk's son's new look in the comics hints at "Secret Wars".

For nearly two decades, Skaar was the most visible of the gamma-powered Hulk's children. He flitted in and out of sight, often causing some fans to forget about him. In "Infernal Hulk #8", Skaar reappears with a rugged appearance that makes him almost unrecognizable. It's a sharp departure from the armored warrior readers are accustomed to. Skaar's new look fits perfectly with the MCU. His only appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe was at the very end of the She-Hulk series. The events of Doctor Doom lead directly to Battleworld in Secret Wars, and Skaar's new design fits perfectly with this setting. Skaar's story in the films is just beginning.
