Wonder Woman managed to gain incredible power at the conclusion of one of the darkest storylines in her history.

Recently, in Wonder Woman #34, the classic Diana managed to gain simply incredible power. This issue also closes one of the darkest storylines in comic book history. Diana managed to obtain a Green Lantern ring. It belonged to her nemesis, the Matriarch, and had previously belonged to John Stewart. The villain simply killed him to gain the power. Moreover, the Matriarch controlled the ring through incredible willpower and a powerful pain tolerance, and then killed the guard sent to retrieve it. And then Diana appeared with a sword modestly named "Godslayer." And it seems that the family was reunited, and Diana was able to steal the ring for herself.
