Mr. Freeze might help Batman defeat Poison Ivy. This week sees the release of the fourteenth issue of the ongoing Batman series, and the Dark Knight’s target has finally been revealed. As Ivy’s botanical creations spread across the city, Batman urgently needs to locate Mr. Freeze. The cold-blooded villain is far from pleased with the situation—and he may well be the key to stopping the rampaging villainess. Meanwhile, butler Verity Pennyworth is forced to defend the manor against attackers who have clearly underestimated exactly who they are dealing with. Batman’s stronghold turns into a battlefield in the dead of night, with dawn fast approaching. The comic hits shelves on October 7, 2026.

The Kremlin and murder appear on the opening pages of this action-packed comic from the creator of "John Wick."

Bad Idea Comics is developing a powerful action-packed comic from Derek Kolstad (creator of "John Wick"), titled Warbird. Several uncolored pages have already been revealed. They take place in Russia, where a man is murdered in a liquor store. The panels also feature an authentic Kremlin and some rather inaccurate store signage. One section is downright gibberish. The main character, Cole, is a top-tier repo man. He can steal anything from a billionaire's megayacht to his private jet. But now he's been given an impossible mission. The wily Russians have pilfered a ton of military secrets from China, France, Germany, Great Britain, and the United States. Using this invaluable data, the local "lefties" have created a superfighter. There are only three such machines in the world. Therefore, the hero's goal is to steal one and destroy the other two. The fee will be huge—as much as $50 million. But there's also a high probability of not surviving. But Cole is a very risky guy. The first issue of Warbird will be released on August 26.
