A comic book featuring an American Jack the Ripper is set for release this autumn.

Publisher Black Mask Comics has announced the title "Leaded Gasoline". Black Mask released the series' first issue at the recent San Diego Comic-Con and promised that the standard edition would go on sale this autumn—specifically, in October 2026. The comic will be released as a series of individual issues. "Leaded Gasoline" tells the story of the hunt for a serial killer active in South Los Angeles during the 1980s. Police are working overtime and task forces are being formed, yet the body count keeps rising. At the heart of the story is a college professor and single father who is convinced that a single psychopath isn't the only one involved.
