Marvel has released the first trailer for its new universe.

"Midnight" is a horror reimagining of the company's iconic superheroes. The series, launching in October, is expected to break new ground for Marvel with its dark and brutal themes. Like Ultimate Marvel and DC Absolute, "Midnight" will be a standalone timeline. It will be a full-fledged horror title. Perhaps this will help the publisher rekindle interest in its heroes, as DC successfully did with Absolute. The first issues will be released on October 7th.
