Mr. Freeze might help Batman defeat Poison Ivy. This week sees the release of the fourteenth issue of the ongoing Batman series, and the Dark Knight’s target has finally been revealed. As Ivy’s botanical creations spread across the city, Batman urgently needs to locate Mr. Freeze. The cold-blooded villain is far from pleased with the situation—and he may well be the key to stopping the rampaging villainess. Meanwhile, butler Verity Pennyworth is forced to defend the manor against attackers who have clearly underestimated exactly who they are dealing with. Batman’s stronghold turns into a battlefield in the dead of night, with dawn fast approaching. The comic hits shelves on October 7, 2026.

Venom gets a new armored design.

A recently released preview of Queen in Black: Venom Unchained #2 shows off Venom's new look. The variant cover shows Venom with white armor on his arms and knees, along with various markings. It's a cool look for the symbiote, and it will likely debut in the next issue of the comic. However, fans can't help but wonder why Eddie Brock's symbiote looks different. Over the past few years, Eddie has been replaced as Venom. First, his son Dylan Brock accepted the symbiote, which, after the events of "Venom War," passed on to Mary Jane Watson. Craving the symbiote, Eddie merged with Carnage, causing the symbiote to rip Spider-Man's true identity from his mind. Without Carnage, Eddie finds himself behind bars for his crimes in the first issue of Queen in Black: Venom Unchained. However, the issue ended with Eddie being approached by Sleeper, one of Venom's many descendants. It's likely Sleeper is depicted on the cover.
