Mr. Freeze might help Batman defeat Poison Ivy. This week sees the release of the fourteenth issue of the ongoing Batman series, and the Dark Knight’s target has finally been revealed. As Ivy’s botanical creations spread across the city, Batman urgently needs to locate Mr. Freeze. The cold-blooded villain is far from pleased with the situation—and he may well be the key to stopping the rampaging villainess. Meanwhile, butler Verity Pennyworth is forced to defend the manor against attackers who have clearly underestimated exactly who they are dealing with. Batman’s stronghold turns into a battlefield in the dead of night, with dawn fast approaching. The comic hits shelves on October 7, 2026.

Spider-Man and the cutest alien goo-creature in the world are set to uncover dark secrets in a special one-shot.

Over Spider-Man's long history, his "spider-family" has grown to include a host of "relatives" linked to arachnids in one way or another—from Madame Web and various Spider-Girls to Spider-Woman. Even Venom joined the fold at one point. But recently, Parker gained what is arguably his most mischievous ally yet. This creature is named Symbie, and he is soon getting his own Marvel Comics special titled "Amazing Spider-Man: Symbie". He is essentially a pint-sized Venom, but with one key difference: he can easily get by without a living host. Symbie is an alien troublemaker whose backstory has remained untold until now—a situation Marvel has decided to rectify. The story of this mysterious little charmer arrives on December 9.
